Disruption can begin with severe weather, ransomware, hardware or infrastructure failure, or human error. Successful backup jobs are not the same thing as tested recovery capability. In one ransomware incident involving a compromised Microsoft server environment, GDP Support restored the systems required for operations in approximately four hours. Complete restoration took approximately 32 hours and included terabytes of backup data plus additional non-production-critical systems and images. This historical result reflects that specific environment and circumstances, not a guaranteed recovery time.
